I am so down for a trapper hat. I love them so much that one time I had to pack for a trip drunkety drunk and all I packed was pajamas, a trapper hat and a sequined gown. Sometimes it takes a cocktail to see what is truly important to you.
The trapper hat is thought to be first seen in 1897 in the Sears, Roebuck & Co. Catalogue for hunters and trappers. Nowadays it still is not about being stylish or chic. This kind of doodad is about fun and warmth. It makes you feel goofy, funky and cozy while frolicking about in chilly weather like Juliet Lewis and Stephanie Pratt did in Park City for The Sundance Film Festival. Her D&Y cap is available at Macys.
p.s. Do you love how Lifestyles condoms were one of the sponsors at the Sundance event? Stuff like that makes me laugh.
