I am not a Tee shirt kind of girl, but Tea Stain Tees Clothing turned my head.
Tea Stain’s graphic tops for men and women were created in response to the many loud designs and over the top casual wear flooding the market (Yes, I am looking at you Ed Hardy).
“We believe your favorite shirt should not make you a walking billboard. People should have a stylish alternative to the $80 t-shirt reads Tea Stain’s website. “Clothing should not distract from what is most important … the person wearing it. Thus Tea Stain is born.”
I know exactly what they are talking about. As many of you already know, I loathe pretentious clothing (aka trendy douche wear) that often splatters the downtown folks around me and the fashion forward clothing departments and boutiques. Tea Stain is an absolutely fantastic, inexpensive alternative to trendy, comfy casual wear. The fit is flattering and the fabric is incredibly soft and wonderfully thin. Think James Perse without the high price.
As for the designs, Tea Stain has many fun choices from peacocks to boats and has even made that squiggly graphic attractive and relatively subtle. You know that pattern that graces the many trendy shirts in Nordstrom and on Melrose Ave. Instead of screaming at you, Tea Stain will whisper to you.
Besides wearing with jeans or shorts, ladies can take Tea Stain to a fashion forward level by wearing this purple top shown below with liquid leggings and ballet flats. For the men, the tees will look sexy underneath a stylish leather jacket, casual blazer, corduroy cover up or pea coat. Also, you always wear it over a plain long sleeve tee if you are not feeling the jacket look.
