Looks like Betsey Johnson has given the little black dress a makeover.

Yes the LBD is a classic, but classic can be boring without a twist. Particularly during the summer the solid black dress can be dull and morbid. That is why I recommend Betsey Johnson’s version of the little black fabulousness.

The sweet heart neckline, fold over and big black buttons are both modern and stylish. Shoes to spice up the outfit would be these J. Reneé Sienna Croc embossed pumps. To compliment the metallic shoe choice you will want to add some color in your purse and a scarf around your neck. This Pucci scarf tied like so is super chic and fun.

For jewelry, keep it simple with these silver danglers and these bamboo silver bracelets from Nordstrom. Gorgeous!

Victoria Secret Has Unique Bathing Suits

There are so many fabulous bathing suits out there, but most of them bore me to death. Yes a solid colored bathing suit is a classic chic look, particularly a red, black, white, metallic or military green suit, but I want to see something with a little more something.

A winner I recently found is this cream 50’s inspired two-piece with a touch of the nautical. Very inventive and available at Victoria’s Secret. I am not sure how flattering this suit would be on the not so thin, but I would love to find out.

Stylish Work Appropriate Outfits

Most people spend 25% of their life at work, ergo people spend 25% of their life in work clothes. Since the idea of a person looking or feeling boring for a large portion of their days on earth disturbs me and because my friend Betsy asked me to, I shall discuss stylish work appropriate outfits for women. An easy way to spice up your work outfits is with accessories. Make sure you have bold and fun bags and accessories. Colorful patterns, animal print and rich hues will make most stiff work attire fashionable. For a fun suit look, any modern, fitted cut suit in a warm grey, black or white will work. Express has some great pieces to mix and match. Try wearing this black suit with this white button down top with the white vest. Then add some jazz with this gold necklace from Nordstrom and some gold knot studs in the ear. Top it off with these black & gold pointy pumps from shoes.com. This Elisa Gonsalves ring will be the cherry on the sundae. Another option is the pencil skirt and top. Try this turquoise blouse from Express with a white pencil skirt and these wild heels from shoes.com. Top it off these fun earrings from Nordstrom and the Elsa Gonsalves ring. Víola. You look fabulous in the office.

I have no interest in the gossip that surrounds Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt; however, I am very interested in what they wearing. At the Cannes Film Festival this May they looked gorgeous!

Angelina Jolie broke out of her uniform of black and wore a stunning green gown that complimented her pregnant belly and large bust. Made by Max Azria Atelier, the skirt of the dress was wonderfully romantic as it swirled around her feet and the accents beneath her chest took the silhouette to a new style level.

Brad Pitt, of course, always chooses a classic look with a modern twist when he makes his fancy appearances. His white button down, charcoal colored tie and white handkerchief scream sexy style when paired with this chic black suit. This is how a stylish man does Black Tie.

Pink Pooch Designs Creates Famous Faces Cuff

In the mail today I received a very cool Famous Faces bracelet by Pink Pooch Designs. I must say I was bit uncertain about whether I would like a beaded bracelet with a face on it, but I love it! I thought it might look cheapy, but it is beautiful in its design and the clasp is quite charming.

As a side note, I can’t stop playing with it. It feels like soft chain mail.

I received the Marilyn Monroe bracelet, but the James Dean, Audrey Hepburn and Bettie Page ones also look divine. They also sell bracelets with current celebrities, but there are very few living celebrities that I would want to wear. Maybe Madonna or Shannyn Sossamon. Maybe.

In regards to how to wear them, by itself looks fabulous, but if you want to add more funk to it try layering. You can add some silver bangles or an interesting cuff for some extra edge.

Keds Makes Comfy Cute Shoes

I work so much. This is a blessing, yes, but these days I get up and work every minute until I am asleep. E-mails, phone calls, paperwork, client sessions, research, interviews, shopping, organizing, writing articles or blogs for various publications, scheduling deadlines.

My only breaks are my brief meals and, today, a Spanish class; which is far more difficult for me then my job. Do not let my last name fool you, I am not bilingual€... yet.

Other people in my predicament are domestic engineers, anyone that works for themselves, and regular folks on the weekend with many errands. There is a certain pickle these type of folks run into. What kind of stylish shoes do you wear when you have the freedom to dress however you like and need complete comfort?

When left to your own devices, many ladies will throw on athletic shoes. Stop! There are some fabulous attractive shoes that will be completely comfortable and still super fashionable. There is not need to put on your running shoes when you are running around.

I wear my Arizona, leopard print flats everyday. There are so comfortable, they compliment both earth tones and black, they stay on my feet, they never look dirty and they are super stylish. My favorite part about them is the lack of bow or décor. Pick a flat that has a fabulous pattern or color that goes with everything and does not have silly ribbons or bows hanging off it.

Keep in mind that your comfy shoes with a fun pattern does not have to match your attire. Its casual wear- it does not have to as long as it compliments your outfit or clashes in an artsy way.

Here are a few hints to avoid clashing in a bad way. Try not to wear these JC Penny'€™s red slip-ons with a purple Tee. Do not wear two well know prints together, like army print shoes with a leopard print tee. Also, do not match patterns: do not wear an army print tee with army print flats. Do not wear leopard print shoes with a leopard print tank etc. Cute flats are everywhere. Some pictures here are from Keds, and I know Nordstrom and Target has a bunch. Go wherever and get crazy comfort.

You can hear it coming by the clackity-clack of Dior shoes. The Sex And The City Movie. I have taken great care to not see so much as a second of the previews to ensure great surprise and delight while watching the film.

I have, however, allowed myself to see some of the pictures from the movie in order to blog fashionably about it.

As I am sure you already know, big, bold prints and colors are splattered across the entire female cast’s wardrobe.

Flowers, are huge this season, literally, and Carrie’s costumes are proof. Hats off to Patricia Field to always stepping it up.

Pictured here we have an outfit similar to what Carrie would wear: a formfitting Kirribilla, dress with a sweetheart neckline and a Crayola box of flowers on it.

Pair it with some fabulous gold heels and this brown belt and you are ready to wow the spectators of your own sexy city.
