Jordan Brand Launches the AIR JORDAN 2010

The Jordanphiles' pants are getting tighter with the announcement of the upcoming launch of its 25th Anniversary AIR JORDAN 2010. The Air Jordan shoe took the world by storm in 1985 and has not let go even after Jordan’s retirement, his folly into baseball, his un-retirement, and his disparaging Hall of Fame speech. Nope, Air Jordan’s might still be cool.

The Jordan has inspired men to become the Imelda Marcos of their neighborhood, collecting numerous pairs of the shoe bearing it’s signature Jumpman Logo. And, this shoe is going to no doubt be a must have to any Jordanphile collector with it’s innovative design to mimic the foots actual flexibility and movement without it being restricted by the structure of the shoe. How To Wear The Casual Button Front Shirt

Well, men, it looks like laziness and lack of attention to detail is finally being rewarded. Just as giant bonuses are given to execs who have destroyed our economy, the dress button front is giving way to the casual button front shirt with that lived-in rumpled look. And, in a word, they look good.

But, I know a lot of you seemed a bit confused by what, when, where and how to wear the casual button front. Fashionably drab has always been a fine line so here are a few tips.

How to wear, you ask? Wear it with jeans, corduroys, chinos, shorts, or any casual pant. No leather, no slacks.

For many men, stepping out of their fashion box is about as hard to do as admitting that they like some chick flicks (Dirty Dancing, anyone? I know you loved it). For the fashionably tenuous a jacket offers the perfect opportunity to try something new. If you’re not feeling it or don’t feel comfortable it can always go over a chair or your shoulder.

Levis Teams Up With OBEY

When Shepard Fairey isn’t being sued by the AP for his Obama HOPE poster, he’s being celebrated by Levis at their flagship store in Time Square for his OBEY design. You know, the one based off of Andre The Giant?

Well it looks like Levis (relegated to 80’s relevance), is coming on strong to be relevant once again by teaming up with Fairey and releasing a line of OBEY clothing designs. With dark reds, blacks and yellow in Fairey’s designs, this line is helping bring Levis back to the forefront and into your closet. So, do as Fezzik says and grab yourself some OBEY Levis. It’s inconceivable that you wouldn’t.

Life After Denim

Jeans, jeans and more jeans. Can we get more boring? Everyone needs a pair of jeans, yes, but do we need to wear them everyday? No. That is why I can truly appreciate the new brand Life After Denim. I know they aren't doing something different persé: chinos, cardigans, jackets, sweaters and corduroy are there, but they are doing it well and not shoving another denim brand in my face - I like that.

In particular I like the Wicker Park button front shirt, their military jackets, and the Midnight Bomber jacket. A great way to bring style to your casual wear as well as nights out.
